In the game, spice fields are not found in the starting area of Hagga Basin. Players can usually find them in Deep Desert, where they are marked by purple sand and explosions.
However, this guide will provide a way to find them without venturing into the desert, even by yourself.

Items We Need To Prepare
Before we begin, we need to make sure everything is hydrated. This is essential for surviving in the vast desert. Next, we need to prepare a few things. The specific item list is as follows:
- Mk5 Radiation Suit
- Medium Sized Vehicle Fuel Cell
- Static Compactor (must go to the trial to unlock this)
- Some Softstep Boots (blueprints are in Imperial Testing Station No. 197)
- Helicopter
Some of these items are optional, but it’s best to bring them to make obtaining spices easier.
Detailed Procedure
After gathering the above items and making sufficient preparations, we can set out to obtain spices.
The area where we will farm spices is on the far left inside Khidr’s Shadow, where the sand is more open. However, it’s very easy to get bitten by worms here, so we must be extra careful.
If you’ve been to this area before, you’ll know that most of it is radioactive. This is where Mk5 Radiation Suit comes in handy.
Of course, even if you’re not in a radioactive zone, you still need to wear Some Softstep Boots when walking in the desert.
