Hello, fellow Path of Exile 2 players! This league is so much fun! All sorts of interesting and powerful builds are emerging. For me, a good build needs to be fast for clearing maps, have high damage, be affordable, and be easy to play. So, here are some builds that are both strong and fun.
1. Poison Pathfinder
Poison Pathfinder is a well-rounded and cost-effective build. It focuses on Poisonburst Arrow skill, which applies poison to enemies, causing area damage for several seconds.
With Nova Projectiles gem, it can fire four additional arrows, covering the screen with poison explosions, making it great for area damage. For single-target bosses, you can use Toxic Growth and Vine Arrow.
First, place Vine Arrow and Tornado Shot on the target. Then, use Poisonburst Arrow. Toxic Growth will then spread the poison to Vine Arrow, making it poisonous as well. Repeat this process to stack damage and quickly take down high-health enemies.
Also, Poison Pathfinder has a slow-resistance effect, allowing you to ignore debuffs like Chilled Ground and Temporal Chains. This greatly improves the gameplay experience. Isn't that amazing? In my opinion, it's an excellent choice for accumulating resources in the early to mid-game.
2. Thor
Thor build is incredibly cool and efficient. Its core is Mjölner, which grants you Thundergod's Wrath skill.
After activating it, you gain energy from melee attacks, which accumulates very quickly. When the energy reaches maximum, you can insert two Lightning spells into the skill slots.
Dual-wielding weapons greatly increases your damage. Insert Ball Lightning and Lightning Warp into one weapon for lightning effects. These will enhance the damage of the other weapon, which should have Arc, allowing you to defeat enemies.
For new players, this build is very cost-effective, as Mjölner provides high attack speed and damage. However, if you want to maximize damage and survivability, consider spending some Path of Exile 2 currency to upgrade your defensive gear, which will help you achieve your goals faster.
3. Sunder Fissures
Friends, are you interested in a Warrior build? Then I think Sunder Fissures build is perfect for you! After the recent changes, Sunder's attack animation has been almost completely removed, giving this classic build a new lease on life and a much smoother gameplay experience.
Here's how it works: after you cast the skill, a fissure appears, dealing damage to enemies in front of you. Each hit on an enemy creates a shockwave, which damages other enemies.
Furthermore, these shockwaves can trigger Herald of Ash, causing additional fire explosions. So, you'll see lots of big explosions when you play this build - isn't that fun?
4. Lightning Warp
Next, let's look at Lightning Warp Cast on Critical Blood Mage build. This spell-based build perfectly combines mobility and map-clearing efficiency, and its visual effects are stunning.
Its core mechanic is Lightning Warp, which allows you to move quickly across the map and deal massive area damage, but it can only be used on low-health enemies.
Therefore, the core strategy is to use Arc with Piety's Mercy to reduce enemy health to a very low level without killing them outright, ensuring enemies always have low health.
Then, by inserting Lightning Warp into Cast on Critical Hit slot, you can automatically finish off enemies and reposition yourself.
While this build has extremely high damage, its survivability is low. So, if you want to play this build, you might need to invest some PoE 2 currency to get the defensive gear you need to improve your survivability.
5. Purple Fireballs
Now, let's look at the Purple Fireballs build, which is primarily magic-based and suitable for players who enjoy easy gameplay.
This build uses Blackflame Covenant to convert fire damage into chaos damage, resulting in unique purple visual effects and allowing you to use both chaos and fire skills.
Then, by generating and picking up fire energy with skills like Living Bomb, the fireballs split, greatly enhancing map clearing ability. Use Living Bomb and Fireball in a loop to maintain energy gain, then use skills like Ember Fusillade for burst damage.
While this build can function without spending currency, it's only truly complete once you obtain Rathpith Globe. It can drop anywhere, so your luck will determine if you get it.

6. Flicker Strike
Flicker Strike has always been a representative build for maximizing map clearing speed, capable of achieving 30 million DPS. How does it work?
You can use Profane Ritual to consume monster corpses for energy orbs, then combine it with Reaper's Invocation or any other cast skill to provide Flicker Strike with near-infinite sustain, allowing for seamless teleporting and attacking.
When facing a single boss, you can manually generate corpses by switching weapons, summoning and killing skeleton warriors, until you have nine energy orbs, ensuring uninterrupted damage.
This build has a low dependency on specific items, so you can steadily improve by crafting high-stat rare items.
7. Crossbow
Finally, let's look at Crossbow build. This build is simple to operate and excels at clearing mobs, making it extremely beginner-friendly. You don't need to spend much time thinking about which skills or gems to use.
We simply use Explosive Shot combined with Nova Projectiles to spread the projectiles in a circle and use Arjun's Medal for auto-reload. Players just need to move and shoot to achieve high-efficiency kills.
Against bosses, use Explosive Grenade and immediately shoot to detonate them, dealing massive area damage. Combine with Voltaic Marks to tag enemies and add extra lightning damage, triggering Herald of Thunder for even more damage.
This league offers players a wide variety of powerful builds. When choosing, consider your playstyle, budget, and preferred mechanics. We hope this guide helps you find your favorite build this season. Happy gaming!
